She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Ames and Catherine Ames; her son Chris; her sisters, Marge (Allen), Mable (Vince) and Rosie; and her siblings-in-law, Eugene, Freddy, John, Rosalyn and Marie.
She is survived by: her husband Virgil Splinter; her children, Cathi (Brian), Tim (Diana), Cheryl (Tom), Ann (Gary), Janice, Rose, Michael (Magdalena), Therese, Karen (Tom), Danny (Cheryl) and Mark (Keti); her daughter-in-law Penny; her siblings, Marion (Harold) and Fritz (Patti); and her siblings-in-law, Jim, Nellie, Marilyn and Jane (Roger). She is also survived by 28 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
