He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Leavitt and Alice Leavitt (Lamberton); and his sister Ruth Leavitt. He is survived by: his brother Edward Leavitt (Berdine); his nieces and nephews, Gretchen Krebs (Jack), Elizabeth Pettigrew, Erin D. Leavitt, Edison Leavitt and Sam Rhoda; his great-nephew Alyson; and his close friends, Paul Kirsch and John Bovee.

Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic, private family services will be held.
