He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Martin A. Czlapinski and Myrtle L. Westover Czlapinski; his wife Carolann Czlapinski; his children, Scott Czlapinski, Phil Czlapinski (Jackie Meyer), Michael Czlapinski (Dena), Tracy Long (Matthew) and Edward Czlapinski (Andrea); and his brothers, Larry Czlapinski (Shirly) and Fred Czlapinski (Linda). He was also cherished by 16 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
