It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen Ruth Jacobson of Plainfield, Wisconsin, who passed away on May 23, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Reinhold Everett and Mary Everett; her sister Janelle (Janeane); her husband Thorleif Wayne Jacobson; and her son-in-law John Mesich II.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Lewein (Scott), Ann Mesich, Janelle Jacobson, Janeane Brockman (Jerry) and Timothy Jacobson (Peggy); her grandchildren, Alex Lewein (Laura), Christian Jacobson, Andrea Jacobson (Doug Michalak), Jovie Mesich, John Mesich III and Shelby Erickson; and her great grandchildren, Maya, Sonja Lewein, River and Ryker Erickson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
During the recent pandemic, she enthusiastically volunteered to package thousands of donated Tide pod sample packs for a local food pantry - doing her part to ease others' burdens.
She often tried, but never won, so please direct any memorial donations to Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
