With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William J. Emer (Plain, Wisconsin), who passed away on July 1, 2020 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Emer (Gruber) and Bill Emer; his siblings, Everelda Schutz and John Emer; and his former wife Cecelia Emer.

He is survived by: his former wife Jeanette Jaedike; his wife Jan; his daughters, Denise Hanus (Joe) and Peg Schammel; his stepsons, Jim Langdon (Eileen) and John Langdon (Sandy); and his grandchildren, Anna, Allison, William, Katherine Hanus, Sarah, Jack and Jimmy Langdon.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Luke's Catholic Church, the Plain Ambulance Department or to a charity of choice.
