He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Liegel and Mary Liegel (Aaron); his wife Wanda Liegel; and his siblings, Roy, Donald, Norman, Louis Liegel, Evelyn Metcalf, Lorraine Urbanek, Irene Yanke, Lucy Dolan, Marcy Marklein and Dorothy Frank.
He is survived by: his sons, Glenn (Sandi) of Madison, Walter (Pamela) of Spring Green, William (Barb) of Madison and Robert (Jennifer) of Rock Springs; his sisters, Carol Meixelsperger, Mary Jane Hull (Leo) and Liz Torgeson; and his sister-in-law Yvonne Liegel. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Luke's School Endowment.
