He was also cherished by 23 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

“Florian, and Dorothy too, were a wonderful uncle and aunt! I remember staying at their house when the cheese factory was still running. They would serve cereal with berries and cream and I didn’t like cereal so I always got berries and cream! So kind! I also remember big platters of cream puffs- yum! And my dad would bring really sharp cheddar home from the factory and parcel out little bits to us kids. Oh and fresh cheese curds! So any memories! Such a great guy! Nice he lived such a long life.”
