He was predeceased by: his father Jeff "Henry" Kissinger. He is survived by: his mother Beth Kissinger (Guldan); his children, Hunter and Wilha (Jana); his siblings, Elle, Bre Koeshall (Jesse) and Colton Kissinger (Jacci); his parents-in-law, Wayne and Kris Joosten; his brother-in-law Erik Joosten (Tracy); and his nieces and nephews, Tasha, Easton, Kallie Koeshall, Willie Washington, Rayna, Jeffery Kissinger, Adelia and Ethen Joosten.

His final act of kindness was to give the gift of life through organ and tissue donation. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be donated in Justin's name to a "hunting wish" granting charity.
