He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bowden and Frances Bowden (Knoll); his daughter Cindy Schroeder; and his siblings, Lyle, Allen, Elton "Tony" Bowden and Sylvia.
He is survived by: his wife Mary McKenney; his sons, Robert Bowden (Pat) of Dexterville and Brian Bowden (Cheryl Johnson) of Dexterville; his son-in-law Robert Schroeder of Pittsville; his grandchildren, Corey Bowden (Cheryl) of Wisconsin Rapids, Cassie Frost (Tanya) of Stevens Point, Stacy Hubler (Jason) of Pittsville, Braxton Bowden of Babcock and Katie Braucht (Josh) of Middleton; his great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Leach, Emily, Jake Bowden, Jack, Audrey Braucht, Natalie, Lexis Prust and Ava; and his brothers, William, Elmer (Georgia) and Wally.
