He is survived by: his wife Carol Bucholtz; his sons, Ron Magdanz (Renee), Dan Magdanz (Medora), Tim Magdanz (Holly) and Steve Magdanz (Elly); and his grandchildren, Payton (Fiancée' Erin), Bryce, Colby, Tate, Owen, Logan, Brooklyn (Ross), Jessica (Cody), Bethany and Riley.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for Immanuel Lutheran Church.
