He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivar Maudal and Esther Maudal (Roser); his parents-in-law, Amy and Hensel Nelson; and his sister-in-law Sue Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Nelson; his daughters, Jennifer Fromm (Jarrod) and Kimberly Maudal; his granddaughter Aubrey; his sisters, Gail Maudal and Virginia Maudal; his niece Sari Sutton (Tracey); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Evy and Max; and also, Kevin Kuppe (Jessie Colbert), Miles and Weston.
