David Lee Steig Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Lee Steig of Pigeon Falls, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 22, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arthur Steig and Myrtle Steig; his wife Betty Walkup; his sibling Huskelhus; his children, Marc (Dawn), Sara Gradwohl (Dan) and Leah Reini (Ryan); his granddaughters, Hannah Allen (Chris) and Melaina Steig (Adam Hitchcock); his stepgrandsons, Corey Jurowski (Meredith) and Nathan Jurowski (Kimberly); his stepgreat-granddaughters, Zoë, Hailey, Norah, Leona and Willa; and his siblings, Dorothy and Billy. He was also cherished by numerous other relatives and friends.

While he fought valiantly like the proud Norwegian he was, he died of the very real Covid-19 on November 22, 2020.
