He was predeceased by: his parents, John Packer and Edel Packer (Friese); and his wife Judith Bergmann. He is survived by: his children, Steven Packer (Kyra), Jerald Packer (Teresa), Jeffrey Packer (LuAnn), Robert Packer (Mary) and Janet Packer (Larry); his stepchildren, Julian Hernandez, Richard Hernandez and Ruth Hernandez; his grandsons, Derek Kruger and Steve Packer; his great grandchildren, Caleb Kruger and Seth Packer; and his brothers, Richard Packer (Georgia) and Norman Packer (Syl). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
