He is survived by: his wife Naomi Wendt; his daughters, Jolle Straseske (Dale) of Reeseville, Debra Polsin (Thomas) of Lowell and Barbara Lauth of Lowell; his sister Amelda Ruhland of Beaver Dam; and his former wife Naomi Griepentrog of Beaver Dam. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
