He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Johnson and Erna Johnson; his spouse Marion "Ethel" Liebelt; and his siblings, Gordon, Clifford, Donald, Emil Jr. and Bernice.
He is survived by: his son David (Julie); his grandchildren, Ashley Kraemer (Tim) and Samantha Ellwanger (Matt); and his great grandchildren, Edwin Kraemer and Shaun Ellwanger. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint John Lutheran Church-Nalc (120 Forest Ave, Phillips, WI 54555). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (120 Forest Ave, Phillips, WI 54555).
