He was predeceased by: his parents, August Flietner and Mary Flietner (Schmidt); and his siblings, Archie, William, Franklin, Alice Powers, Elaine Hancock, Wayne, Eddie and Dean.
He is survived by: his niece Donna Powers of Georgia; his nephews, Elliot and Bill Flientner of Phillips; his sister-in-law Marilyn Flietner; and his friends, Margaret "Maggie" Jagodzinski of Illinois and Steven Janacek of Phillips.
