He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arthur Balz and Adeline Balz (Hoge); his wife Darlene Ziegel March; his children, Linda O'Keefe (William) of Chicago, IL, Michael of Athens, Robin Sauter (Dave) of Athens, Jeffrey (Tina) of Athens, Kurt Brodziski (Doug) of Athens, Leslie Gerhart (Jeff) of Athens, Kandi Lavicka (Brian) of Athens and Scott; and his brothers, Harold and Clarence. He was also cherished by 17 great grandchildren.
