He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Barbara; his children, Cindy Matzke (Craig), Wesley Short (Jackie) and Dana Vanden Busch (late Dave); his grandchildren, Nick Matzke (Adrian), Kristen Damato (Allan), Kayla and Hannah Vanden Busch; his great grandchildren, Kaylee, Raylan Matzke, Everly and Emilia Damato; and his brother Wayne Short (Marcia).
