Penny passed peacefully to be with the Lord, after a long, hard-fought battle. She remained upbeat, sassy and feisty throughout, never losing her sense of humor.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Donald, her parents, Charles and Edith (nee Mills) Napier, her brother John (Rosemary) Napier. She is survived by her children Lisa, Sandy (Chris) Leinon and Charlie. Grandchildren Amanda (Taylor) Merlin, Brianna Leinon, Samuel (Jordan) Leinon, and Ryan Kuehn. Further survived by extended family and friends.
Penny loved to travel. Penny and Don enjoyed Rv-ing across the country and Canada, visiting all states and provinces. Cruises and a trip to Hawaii, rounded out her adventures. She loved the wildlife, fishing and seeing the sites.
In 2010, they became snowbirds and purchased a home in Salt Springs Florida. They met many wonderful people in the village and made many friends. She greatly enjoyed being the off-site event coordinator for the community.
The family would like to thank the staff at Fresenius Kidney Care, Dr Logan Elangavon, Angel's Grace HospiceCare for their excellent care and guidance during this time.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church. N36W24130 Pewaukee Rd, HWY 164, Pewaukee, WI 53072. Visitation 10:00 am-11:30 am. Service at 11:30am, with a lunch to follow.
Penny loved to laugh and wanted her celebration of life to reflect that. Please bring your favorite stories of Penny to remember the very full life she lived.
