She was predeceased by: her husband Johan; and her brothers, Robert Schmidt (Sindy), Benny Schmidt (late Delores), Roger Schmidt (Kay) and Earl Schmidt (late Barb).

She is survived by: her siblings, Arthur Schmidt (Mary) and Rose Schmidt; and her foster children, Joann and David. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
