He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Young and Lois Young (Leonard). He is survived by: his wife Hannelore (Lore); his children, Kristin Schulz (Glenn) and Mark Windisch (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Ashley and Sam; and his siblings, Kenneth Windisch (Lan), Charles Young (Terri), Linda Trimble, Judith Krauss, Barbra Windisch and Lawrence Windisch (Larry). He is also survived by eight nephews and one niece.
