He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hyland and Louise Hyland; and his siblings, Patricia, Maureen, Kathleen, Robert and Gerald.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Schellinger (Ellie); his children, John Hyland (Elizabeth), Susan Schicker (Pete), David Hyland and Peter Hyland (Mary); his granddaughters, Jennifer Rhode (Chris), Eileen Hyland, Denise Hyland and Lillian Hyland; his great grandchildren, Eleanor and Ashlyn; and his brother James Hyland.
The family has requested that memorials be made to the Wales-Genesee Lion's Club or to the charity of the donor's choice.
