He was predeceased by: his brother Dennis. He is survived by: his wife Jane A. Foerster; his sons, John J. Foerster (Milwaukee) and Alexander J. Foerster (Oregon); his grandchildren, John and Lucy; and his siblings, Steve (Oostburg) and Linda (Menomonee Falls).

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Spring Creek Church Next Generation Fund or to Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin.
