He was predeceased by: his wife Hortencia Herrera; his parents, Macedonio Herrera and Ursula Herrera; and his siblings, Maria Herrera of Corpus Christi, Texas., Jacoba Herrera of Corpus Christi, Texas., Margarita Cardenas of Corpus Christi, Texas., Santos Rodriguez of Corpus Christi, Texas. and Francisca DeLeon of Corpus Christi, Texas..
He is survived by: his children, Manuela Zapata, Gilbert Herrera (Mimi), Esmey Kosier (Warren), Isabel Jones (Tom), Henry Herrera-Stokes (Richard), Michael Herrera (Christine), Robert Herrera, Patti Race (David) and Christina Herrera (John Hagemann); his grandchildren, Jason Herrera, Michael Haase (Jamie), Nichole Smargiassi (James), Melissa Rodriguez, Robert Herrera Jr., Jessica Kryston (Troy), Tony Rodriguez, Gabrielle Mauch (William), Valaria Herrera, Amber Hock (Ricky), Olivia Herrera (Ethan Hooker), Ashely Amaro, Alessandra Herrera, Daniela Herrera, Nick Wolf, Antonio Herrera, Julianna Herrera, Emma Wolf, George Wolf and Diamond Herrera; his sister Dominga Salasar; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Morales and Carmen Morales. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
