He was loved and cherished by many people including: his great-grandparents, Wayne and Pearl Newton; his great-aunt Linda Arduser; his uncle Tom Janke (Pam Brey); his grandfather Robert Brey; his parents, John Brey and Barb Brey (Hulke); his siblings, Parker Brey and Madison Brey (Dustin Lindgren); his nephew Dallas Brey (Corbin); his grandparents, Carol Brey, David and Nancy Hulke; his aunts and uncles, Pete (Debbie Brey), Sue Janke, Scott (Becky Marcoux), Mike and Karolyn Hulke; his cousins, Ben Brey, Kristin Brey, Michael Sampson, Laurin, Jeff Dalton (Kate), Josh, Maira Brey (Edmond), Bryan, Vanessa Janke, Zach, Amy Janke, Brandon Hulke, Garrett, Leah Hulke (Calvin) and Chandler Hulke; and his close friend Becca Wollenzien.
