He was predeceased by: his father Robert Gipp. He is survived by: his mother Jeanne Gipp; his wife Yvonne; his children, Kristina Winters (Tim), Jennifer Tetzlaff (Brad) and Andrea Edwards (Mike); his grandchildren, Mason, Zachary, Kayle, Ella, Jake and Matthew; and his siblings, David, Roger, Ken, Karl, Mary, Nancy and Betty. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
