It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda M. Schendel (Pewaukee, Wisconsin), born in Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on April 23, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Martin McCarthy and Vivian McCarthy; her husband Dennis Schendel; her children, Dr. Kevin Schendel (Liz), Betsy Shepherd (Dave) and Megan Birch (Carsten); her grandchildren, Elliot, Alex (Keegan Schendel), Ryan, Clare (Danny Shepherd) and Stephanie (Rebecca Birch); her siblings, Cathleen McCarthy, Mary Simon, Martin McCarthy, Michael McCarthy, Clare Gadient and Shannon McCarthy; her sister-in-law Susan Haas (Jerry); and her cousin Eileen Dempsey. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
