He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Bayer and Anna Bayer (Murray); and his brothers, Joseph (Pat), Michael and Harold Bayer (Margaret).
He is survived by: his wife Helen Schultz; his sons, Jim (April) of Marinette, Jamie (Lorelei) of Peshtigo, Tommy (Hakan) of Sweden, Andy (Liz) of Menominee and Robert (Allison) of Appleton; his siblings, Bill (Sue), Jim (Sharon) and Ann Marie Picard (Jim); and his sister-in-law Louise Bayer. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Berth and Rosenthal Funeral Home (331 S Ellis Ave, Peshtigo, WI 54157). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
He will be remembered for his kind heart, his unwavering dedication to his family, and his contributions to the Peshtigo community.
