He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Olsen and Margaret Olsen (Hutter); his former wife Mattie Howell; his spouse Lorayne Peterson; his daughter Barbara Olsen; his grandchildren, Amanda Olsen, Justin Hoeffler and Pat LaLonde; his daughter-in-law Doreen Olsen; his stepdaughter Linda LaLonde; and his sisters, Barbara and Karen.

He is survived by: his brother Tom Olsen (Pam); his children, Deb Hoeffler (Rick), Mark Olsen (Donna), Don Olsen (Tina) and Melissa Boettger (Ahren); and his grandchildren, Brittany Hoeffler, Peter Dellisse (Nina), Paul Stacho (Cassandra), Frieda Stacho, Brandon Olsen, Anastasia Olsen, Gavrayelle Olsen (Anthony), Brian LaLonde and Chris LaLonde. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
