He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Ellison and Lila Ellison (Huettl); his sisters, Joyce Steinmetz (Ellison), Gloria Guay (Ellison), Janet Leist (Ellison) and Joan Alloy (Ellison); and his brothers-in-law, Leon, Tom, Jerry Schertz, Nic Steinmetz, Gene Guay, Sam Alloy, Harry Leist and Robert Duquaine.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Schertz of Peshtigo; his daughters, Lisa Milanes (June) of Campbell, CA, Kim McMahon (Mike) of Porterfield and Lynn Collins of Peshtigo; his siblings-in-law, Terry Schertz (Deb), Kathy Schertz and Kathryn Duquaine (Kay); his grandchildren, Vincent Milanes, Valerie Milanes, Aaron Sovey (Arikka), Ashley Behnke and Michael Collins (Dayna); his great grandchild Anthony Sovey; his stepgrandson John (Lisa); his children, Eli, Issac, Evan, Adam, Owen, Amy (Neil), Lyric, Irie and Livy; his stepgrandchildren, Amanda Drong (Sovey), Ashley Haulotte (Sovey) and Alicia Meyers (Sovey); and his cousin Frank Ellison.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (171 S Wood Ave, Peshtigo, WI 54157). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
