He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur and Luella; his brother Bill; his stepmother Meleta; his sister Nancy Hedberg; and his grandson Tony.

He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Hrbacek; his children, Bobby (Lois), Mona (David), Rich (Crystal), Ron (Joanne) and Randy (Pam); his sisters, Peggy (Bill) and Donna (Larry); and his grandchildren, Sarah, April, Sara Beth, Cody, Joe, Cassy, Ellen and Nicolle. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
