It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Jean Hoppa of Peshtigo, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 30, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Marilyn Jean may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer (Delores Groy) and Marilyn. She is survived by: her son David "Bubba" Hoppa (Jessica); and her siblings, Dan Groy, Julie Van Kirk (Dwight), Sue Oja and JoAnne Yeager (Rick). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Berth and Rosenthal Funeral Home (331 S Ellis Ave, Peshtigo, WI 54157). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
