He was predeceased by: his parents, L. A. "Jack" Dendy and Ella Mae Griffin Dendy; his wife Gerri Dendy; his sons, Mayo and Marlo Dendy; and his granddaughter Amanda Dendy.
He is survived by: his son Paul Dendy of Gulf Port; his stepson Talmage Floyd of Jackson; his grandsons, Joshua Dendy of Mize, Gregg Dendy of Belle Chase, LA and Michael Dendy of Gulfport; and his great grandchildren, Donovan Dendy, Hayden Dendy and Aribella Dendy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
