He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Grinsteiner and Katherine Grinsteiner (Weninger); and his siblings, Theresa Rife, Dolly Grinsteiner, Frank Grinsteiner and Tony Grinsteiner.

He is survived by: his wife Delores Jacques (Doris) of Anthony's Church; his sons, Leo (Sherry), Timothy (Gloriya) and Kurt (Nu); his grandchildren, Gabriel, Ariel (Rachel), Eitan, Avi, Lydiya, Sophia and Calvin; and his siblings, Isabel Forry, Joan Maier (Keith), Vicki Erbele, Marie Grinsteiner and Dennis Grinsteiner.
