He was predeceased by: his wife Jody; his parents, John Walters and Irene Walters; his siblings-in-law, George, Gertrude Voelker, Gene, Hank, Jay, Verlon Voelker, Jim Converse, Lora and Margie Voelker; his nephew Mike Voelker; and his niece Desiree Walters.
He is survived by: his children, Brett Walters (Brigid Molony), Holly Wiesler (Steven), Robin VandeHei (Scott) and Trisha Connolly (Rob); his grandchildren, Meagen Schievink (Mark Haley), Stephanie Holt (Zach), Kayla Walters, Danielle Walters (Nathan Nickel), Savannah Johnson (Dakota), Henry Molony Walters, Sean Molony, Maija Birzgalis (Chris Appleby), Spencer Birzgalis (Jelena Stevelik), Kassidy Birzgalis (Noah Pepin), Emily Lowis (Zac) and Hannah VandeHei; his great grandchildren, Bryce, Jadyse, Kael Schievink, Benjamin Walters-Gokey, Serenity Schwartzenberger, Landyn, Mason Brooks, Willow Johnson, Max Frydrych, Oliver Semrau, Sawyer and Jonah Lowis; his siblings, Judy Podraza (Rich), Darlene Behnke (Dick) and Rick Walters (Barb); and also, Lorna Converse, Al Voelker (Marge), Linda Voelker, Dick Voelker (Cheryl) and Wayne Voelker (Mary). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
