He is survived by: his wife Carrie Ikkala; his daughters, Kimberly Tietyen (Jeremy) of Oak Creek and Marianne Evancheck (Thomas) of Peshtigo; his grandchildren, Jacob, Benjamin, Caroline, Michael and Colt; and his siblings, Dorothy Ann Mitchell of Munising and Bruce Thorley (Donna) of Gowen, Michigan..

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Faith Lutheran Food Pantry.
