He is survived by: his wife Susan Merrill; his children, Michael Novak (Julie) of Jennings, Thomas "Rowdy" Novak (Esther) of Pelican Lake and Pamela Matucheski (Phillip) of Antigo; his grandchildren, Trevor, Hunter Novak of Jennings, Alex Novak of Rhinelander, Chase Novak of Pelican Lake, Mackenzie Novak of Eau Claire, Jessica Matucheski (Derek) of Antigo and Toni Miller (Robert) of Antigo; his brother Jerome Novak (Bonnie) of Jennings; and his nephews, Aaron, Ben, Wade and Nick Novak. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
