He was predeceased by: his parents, Xavier Dantoin and Adeline Dantoin (Schmechel); his in-laws, Ed and Margaret Kocken; his sister Sandra Murphy; and his in-laws, Ken Dantoin (Elaine), Don Dantoin (Donna), Jerry Dantoin (Jean), Betsy Kocken, Mike Castelic, Roy Vieau and Barb Kocken.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Sue; and his children, Wylie Dantoin (Tammy), Luke Dantoin and Tera Mattke (Joe).
