He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Skidmore and Sarah "Sadie" Skidmore (Clark); his siblings, Garth Skidmore, Harland Skidmore, Forrest Skidmore and Cecelia; and his grandmothers, June Bauknecht and Verean Maleug.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Radtke; his daughters, Lynn Garner-Robbins of Madison, Kelly Skidmore of Pearson and Katherine "Kitty" Kennedy (Ted) of Lakeland, FL; and his grandchildren, Keith Garner (Samantha), Lila Garner (Keith Helminen), Sarah Hudnall (Phil), Ryann Koett (Luke), Freeman Cooper and Joshua Kleinhuizen (Stephanie). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
