It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Gene Meyer of Park Falls, Wisconsin, born in Butternut, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 7, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Ronald departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Ronald may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Ronald leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis and Matilda "Tilly" (Brunner); his wife Patricia Tapplin; and his sons, Ronald and Kenneth Meyer.

He is survived by: his daughters, Wendy Meyer of Park Falls and Tammy Hantelman of Mankato, MN; his daughters-in-law, Susan Meyer of Phillips and Lisa Meyer of Wausau; his sister-in-law Joan Stuckenberg of Minocqua; and his pet Bashful. He is also survived by grandchildren, (6) great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
