He is survived by: his children, Kevin Scharp (Kathy), Janis Scharp and Ryan Scharp (Melissa); his grandchildren, Sadie Rangara (Kiran), Dick Larson, Chris, Mike Scharp, Meadow and Mya Scharp; and his siblings, Frederick Scharp (Annette), Darren Scharp (Shorty), Dennis Scharp, Linda Walker, Diane Weiss (Charles) and Karen Johnston. He is also survived by many nephews, cousins and nieces.
