He is survived by: his wife Gloria Ferkovich of Park Falls; his children, Steven Herbst (Carol) of Arden Hills, MN, Richard J. Herbst of Park Falls, Leslie Haney (Terry) of Butternut, Amy Shattuck (Curtiss) of Scandia, MN and Michele Wallerstein (Phillip Davis) of Duluth, MN; and his sister Dona Hessler of Park Falls. He is also survived by grandchildren, (2) great-grandchildren.
