He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Hilgart and Mary Hilgart (Kundinger); his spouse Hisako Ishiguro; his former wife Barbara Gutmann-Anetsberger; and his brother Eugene Hilgart.
He is survived by: his son Kenneth Hilgart of New York, NY; his stepchildren, Janet Schumacher (James) and Frank Anetsberger (Jennifer) of Park Falls; and his siblings, Marilyn Weber (Robert) and Fred Hilgart (Klara) of Winter Thomas. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
