He was predeceased by: his wife Janice; and his sister Lynn Yoshida. He is survived by: his daughter Denise Makela (Derek) of Park Falls; his grandchildren, Michael, Alex and Laura Makela; and his sisters, Nancy Allen (Chuck) of Eaton Rapids, MI and Luann Williams (Gary) of Eaton Rapids, MI.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
