She was predeceased by: her parents, Eman Smetak and Helen Smetak (Yarish); her husband John Edwin McKnight; her son Michael Jon McKnight; and her siblings, Donna Steinacker, Dick Smetak, Jim Smetak and Dennis Bourgard.
She is survived by: her son Peter McKnight (Brandi) of Florence, MT; her grandchildren, Joshua Buerk and Johnna McKnight of Florence, MT; and her siblings, Val Kinas, Phyllis Barfknecht of Bellevue, WA, Gary Smetak (Lori), Terry Bourgard (Deb) and Randy Couey (Karen) of Rice Lake, WI. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
