Bernice M. Watland Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernice M. Watland of Park Falls, Wisconsin, born in Butternut, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 13, 2023 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Sr. Meindl and Petronella Meindl (Smola); her husband Clarence L. "Sparky" Watland; her son-in-law Stanley Nelson; and her siblings, Clara Meindl, Leona Greer, Laura Meindl, Helen Burch, George, Walter, Elmer, Albert and Herbert Meindl.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Lee Nelson of Westfield and Coralee Erickson (Larry Voigt) of Minocqua. She is also survived by grandchildren, (7) great-grandchildren, (1) great-great-granddaughter, and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
