He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess and Leila; his siblings, John, Robert, Richard, Janet Martens and Donna Campbell; and his daughter-in-law Elizabeth.
He is survived by: his significant other Betty Ann Gilbertson; his grandchildren, Matthew, Caleb and Cora; his brother Douglas (Ruth); and his siblings-in-law, Donna Reiter, Constance Curtis and Ronald Gilbertson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
