She was predeceased by: her parents, Wildred Jerome and Madalynne Jerome (Leahy); her brothers, Robert, Delbert, Howard and Dwight Jerome; and her great grandchild Morgan Pounders.
She is survived by: her husband Alan C. Simonson; her children, Steven, Kristine, Robert (Peggy) and Kimberly Shortreed; her siblings, Hayden Jerome (Sally), Gretta Simonson (Harlan), Neil Jerome (Kathy) and Susan Sanders (Martin); her grandchildren, Brandon, Bretton Pounders, Kyle Simonson (Emily), Donovan Simonson (Lindsay), Mitchell Simonson, Zachary Simonson, Alissa and Brielle Shortreed; and her great grandchildren, Draek, Ty, Madalynne, Alexis, Angel, Easton, Ava and Elizabeth.
