He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Waldman and Jack Waldman; his brothers, William and Robert; and his former wife Marie.
He is survived by: his wife Lila; his children, John Waldman (Tina Street), Carrie Stanek (Fred), Nancy Soma (Dan), Tom Waldman (Jill Rotar), Patty Swan (Bill) and Jerry Berken (Lisa); and his grandchildren, Jonathan Waldman (Liz), Jesse Waldman, Alexis Folk, Jack Waldman, Heidi Ramos-Stanek (Noemi), Hannah Stanek Yee, Mike Stanek (Sarah), Sam Stanek (Mariela), Aaron Waldman, Lainey, Tommy and Matthew Berken. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends.
Memorials may be made in John's name to the Museum at the Portage, Habitat for Humanity of Wisconsin River Area, or your local food pantry.
