He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Atkinson and Violet Atkinson; his children, Daniel, Diane and Dwayne Atkinson; his brothers, Donald, Walter and Earl Atkinson; his wife Conelee Atkinson; his grandchildren, Stacey McAliley and Zachary Austin; and his close friend Doris Jeche.
He is survived by: his children, Douglas Atkinson, Delwyn Atkinson (Rachel), Deana Miller (Darren), James Austin (Jennifer), Colleen Raley (David), Barbra McAliley, Ariel Austin (Bonnie) and Brenda Hughes; his siblings, Dorthey Olson of Pardeeville, Maurice Atkinson (Rose) of Oak Creek and Sandy Treptow (Jim) of Pardeeville; and his extended family, Tammy Campnell, Randy Jeche, Sue Denman and Steve Jeche. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren.
